Pop-up, drive-in movies | Update

Entertainment Published on 3 May 2006 in Entertainment

An update to our recent article about pop-up, drive-in movies. As spotted by one of our fine readers, Guerilla Drive-In organizes spontaneous outdoor movie shows on the East Coast, near West Chester, Pennsylvania. Its unique selling points? 16 MM movies only, projected from a 'badass sidecar rig'.

Viewing locations are secret and audiences notified through an email list. Indicating Guerilla Drive-In isn't just for parked cars, movie lovers are advised to bring an AM radio and a blanket. In the movie business? Or another part of the entertainment industry? Work with these people! If they'll let you, that is. ;-) If not, set up your own pop-up entertainment units, and share the fun.
