AI platform delivers 3D content as a service

With the strength of ZEG.ai's deep-learning networks, entire product catalogues can be modelled
ZEG.ai is transforming the use of 3D modelling with its artificial intelligence (AI) design software. Specialising in deep-learning AI, the company provides what may be the world’s first concept that uses 3D content as a service.
At a minimum, companies must provide one to two images for the 3D model to be based upon. The AI then takes on what is frequently an extensive, expensive and time-consuming process and produces 3D models for a fraction of the usual time and cost. With the strength of its deep-learning networks, entire product catalogues can be modelled.
For industries that rely on visuals, particularly e-commerce businesses, an on-demand service such as this could greatly enhance their offerings, whether that be in sales, services or training. 3D modelling as a service also provides vastly improved marketing capabilities without requiring the acquisition of any new hardware, software or processes. And ZEG.ai offers both augmented and virtual reality versions of a visualisation.
ZEG.ai is part of the Machine Intelligence Garage start up cohort at Digital Catapult.
