A portable generator powered by renewables

The battery-run system reduces daily energy costs and can power multi-day emergency needs

Spotted: EcoFlow’s latest line of portable power solutions plugs directly into a home’s electrical circuit for uninterrupted energy. Should a power grid outage occur, the building’s energy needs are rerouted to the DELTA Pro system. Depending on how many units are being used to provide power, the system can support a huge range of appliances and devices.

The portable power station comes with a range of input and output options, along with additional accessories that include a smart home panel, a double voltage hub for extra heavy use, a sun-tracking solar panel and an emergency generator. Users can connect multiple units for greater volumes of power, and to recharge, can use energy from wind, sun, wall outlets, electric vehicle charging points and EcoFlow’s own smart generator.

Quick to recharge, the DELTA Pro system design makes it possible to connect with other solar panel brands as well, allowing users to integrate the new system with renewables already in place. The smart generator automatically turns off when the battery is fully recharged.

Finding ways to decrease energy consumption is an ongoing effort, and Springwise is spotting helpful innovations for households such as the AI energy use tracker and a home hydrogen power plant.
