Waterless, plant-based shampoo and conditioner in recyclable tubes

Everist has unveiled its high-performance waterless haircare concentrates that are sustainable in performance and design

Spotted: With the mission to make clean, zero-waste products for beauty lovers, Canada-based Everist Inc., officially made their debut with their first high-performance haircare products. Built by Jayme Jenkins and Jessica Stevenson, two women who collectively have 25 years of experience in the industry, the company boasts ultra-clean formulas, infinitely recyclable aluminium packaging, a light shipping footprint and a carbon-neutral supply chain. Driven by the insight that most shampoos and conditioners are more than 70 per cent water and packed with synthetic chemicals, Everist was driven to do better.

Jenkins and Stevenson developed haircare products that are three times more concentrated, meaning that a regular bottle of shampoo or conditioner can now fit into a 100ml travel-friendly aluminium tube. The plant-based formulas are completely waterless and free from parabens, sulphates, silicones, dyes, synthetic fragrances and preservatives, as well as being proudly vegan and cruelty-free. All that is needed is a one-inch strip of product, which can be activated by rubbing wet hands to build up a lather in the hair as normal. The result of the clean ingredients is hair that is gently cleansed and feels light and healthy.

Everist is currently taking pre-orders for their haircare concentrates, which start at €20 per tube and will begin shipping across the US and Canada in February. The company also has plans to expand its products to both body and skincare later this year.
