The new SaaS product is helping companies to maximise their transportation efficiency and minimise CO2 emissions
Spotted: Sustainability reporting – the disclosure of progress in meeting environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals – is becoming more important for organisations in almost every industry. The benefits of sustainability reporting include more efficient decision-making processes, reductions in supply chain risk, reduced waste, and significant cost savings. However, one often-overlooked part of ESG is transportation.
Now, greentech startup Triply has developed a mobility assessment platform to meet this need. The Linz-based company has created a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution that aims to help organisations quickly and flexibly measure complex mobility data in order to obtain specific recommendations for actions.
Triply uses a cloud infrastructure and algorithms to rapidly analyse data related to mobility – providing interactive analysis and visualisations. The goal of all this data crunching is to help companies better make decisions in areas such as site selection, CO2 emissions, mobility expenses, and traffic volume caused by employees.
The company has recently developed a Mobility Audit, which checks the status of the traffic caused by a company’s employees in a holistic manner. The company says that it can be used to quickly survey mobility needs to improve sustainability in line with demand.
Triply joins a revolution in SaaS products – one which aims to unlock the value of data. Other innovations Springwise has spotted in this space include a platform that helps African health care companies improve their transparency, and a platform that tracks corporate emissions.
