The platform aims to make it easier and less time consuming to include employees in a company's sustainability initiatives
Spotted: US-based management and environmental commodities company ClimeCo, will be launching a new software solution allowing companies to improve their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) efforts by making it easier to involve employees in their sustainability initiatives.
The SaaS software platform, named EarthUP, caters to institutions of every size and across every sector. The platform connects employees’ values to companies’ corporate sustainability initiatives and vice versa. ClimeCo believes that EarthUP will be a vital tool for companies striving to reach net-zero, as it will allow companies to back up their sustainability commitments with accurate reporting.
For example, companies will be able to better understand their carbon footprint by incorporating their entire workforce – including employees working from home. Companies can then choose to offset these emissions and find more targeted ways to make sustainability personal to every employee. In addition, this hopes to help embed sustainability principles into the organisational culture of the company.
EarthUP is now offering a free 30-day trial for those wanting to try it.
“Companies that find ways to get all employees personally engaged in day-to-day corporate sustainability efforts, from all levels of the organisation, will outperform their competitors,” says Stephen Bay, Co-Founder and CEO of EarthUP.
At Springwise, we have spotted a number of software initiatives that aim to help organisations reach net zero. This includes a carbon off-setting platform that improves transparency, and an affordable carbon accounting solution.
