Kudrone’s low-cost personal drone features a simple app-controlled interface, auto tracking capability and live-streaming.
There continue to be new examples of potential applications for drones, whether it’s as artificial pollinators or for disease control, the consumer market is being ever more targeted, as we see with this affordable new personal drone from Kudrone.
The palm-sized quadcopter model is currently available as an early-bird purchase on Indiegogo for USD 99 and boasts a range of features normally reserved for higher price brackets, such as auto-tracking. The drone is controlled via wifi through a smartphone app, using a simple touch-screen interface, with users able to live-stream footage captured from Kudrone’s onboard camera. Weighing in at only 85g and with a detachable battery that offers 8 minutes of continuous flight time, Kudrone is designed to be easily picked up at social gatherings (Kudrone are pushing the idea of using the drone indoors) and used by anyone.
How else can personal drones impact users’ lives?
