BiFarm’s plan is to provide agricultural freedom in environments that are traditionally hard to cultivate, such as dry deserts of the Middle East

Spotted: Agricultural tech company, BiFarm, is dedicated to developing soilless solutions that maximise harvest quality and yields. The company focuses on precision aeroponics, enabling precision-controlled cultivation for consistent, reliable, and repeatable results.

Bifarm’s technologies can grow various plants. Products also include built-in root temperature control and automated nutrient intake and drain. In addition, their GrowOS app allows you to set your plant habitat, automate growth conditions for each stage and receive alerts to control your system remotely.

iFarm CEO Wanjun Gao said: “If we look back at BiFarm’s origin, it is an accidental business. It started with the problem of my inability to keep indoor plants alive for long, and I took it upon myself to automate the gardening tasks”.

The process claims to reduce water usage by 90 per cent, increase growth rate by 33 per cent, plant yields up to 30 per cent and cut pesticide usage up to 100 per cent.
