KidX integrates its own hardware, software, technology and content to deliver an interactive video and play experience using real world physical play
Spotted: American interactive AI education company KidX aims to improve education with their first-ever interactive video hardware system, which merges offline and online experiences through multimodal AI.
The company’s AI stack includes voice, conversation, personalised learning and assessment. The technology has been adopted for use in robots, WeChat mini-programs and human interviews. In addition to AI software technology, KidX has developed a proprietary interactive hardware platform that allows physical objects to interact with digital content.
“We are reimagining the offline learning and play experience for children by remixing physical play with AI and state of art technologies. We believe in combining digital and physical play to maximize a child’s development, enjoyment, curiosity, and learning”, KidX told Springwise.
KidX’s first product, KidX Classbox, was developed out of the COVID-19 crisis. The company soon realised that digital solutions lacked the multi-sensory and physical interaction that they believe are necessary for child development and learning.
The Classbox includes a set of physical toys and a hardware board that connects with iPad and Android devices, to deliver an interactive learning experience.
KidX Classbox is designed for children between 3 and 8 years old and will teach fundamental mathematics based on Montessori, Brain and Logic training researched by Harvard and The National Institute of Health.
