W Hotels partnered with Rent the Runway to offer guests a personalised selection of clothes during their stay
Spotted: Guests at select US-based W Hotels no longer need to pack for vacation. The hotel chain has partnered with Rent the Runway to offer guests bespoke outfits during their stay.
The deal is straightforward. Guests pay €62 when they book to access four outfits during their stay at the hotel. The clothing comes from Rent the Runway, a subscription clothing service and the clothes are delivered when the guests’ check-in, providing a ready-made wardrobe without the luggage, to be returned to the hotel when they check out.
Guests can wear the clothing for four to eight days and the outfits available are curated to match the destination. Rent the Runway offers a range of sizes, to make sure the clothing fits.
Currently, the offer is available at four W Hotels in the US: W Aspen, W Washington D.C., W South Beach, and W Hollywood. The pilot program is scheduled for 5 December 2019 to 5 March 2020, but the service may be expanded to more hotels in the future, according to the company.
