Online tool will automate medical appointments

Bright.md enables healthcare providers to save time and money by offering patients a consultation survey, which can be filled out remotely.
Some of the most administrative tasks in the healthcare industry take up the most time and energy. We have seen many tools help automate these processes so healthcare professionals can give more of their time and attention to patients — there are robots that administer blood tests, and automated prescription monitoring tools. Another service is Bright.md — a platform which automates medical consultations and drastically reduces the amount of time doctors spend doing consultations, so to increase their capacity for one-on-one patient time.
Bright.md enables healthcare providers to offer patients a medical survey — which can be filled out remotely — forming the first part of their consultation. Before speaking to a healthcare professional, patients will be asked to fill in an online questionnaire, which can then be used by physicians to help formulate a preliminary diagnosis. The Portland-based startup estimate their software could reduce the costs of healthcare visits by up to 80 percent. This will also reduce the wait time for patients and potentially unneeded visits to the clinic.
AI tools in the healthcare industry are still a long way from replacing humans, but companies such as Bright.md provide excellent tools for taking care of the administrative services of the industry. What other medical tasks could be outsourced to tech companies?
