11 alpine villages now rentable for corporate events

Schaan-based Xnet has made 11 alpine villages available to rent for large corporations looking for a memorable setting for their next company get-together.

Bland meeting rooms and anonymous banquet facilities are common backdrops for most corporate events, but a Liechtenstein company has come up with another alternative. Specifically, through its Rent a Village initiative, Schaan-based Xnet has made 11 alpine villages available to rent for large corporations looking for a memorable setting for their next company get-together. 11 villages in Germany, Austria and Switzerland are now at companies’ disposal for short-term events, with options to temporarily rename streets and squares with company-relevant names, have a logo carved into a mountain slope, or introduce a custom currency. A village brass band is on hand to lend a festive air to the occasion, and all clocks can be reset to match the timeframe of the company’s event. Cowsheds, riding halls, mines, fortresses, castles, alpine mountain pastures and igloos are also available, as are a variety of local culinary delights. Then, too, there’s the 24-hour hotline in case any problems arise. Pricing varies between EUR 250 and EUR 500 per night, depending on the village, according to U.S. News & World Report. The video below explains the Rent a Village concept in more detail:
We’ve seen countless examples of companies creating branded spaces to enhance their image in the community, including State Farm’s Next Door cafĂ©, but the Rent a Village scheme now offers brands a way to do something similar with their own employees.
