Kittyhawk is an app that enables those managing commercial fleets of UAVs to keep on top of flight logs, maintenance and flying conditions.
As the popularity of drones increases and the skies become more crowded, further logging requirements are being introduced. Kittyhawk is a free app that enables those managing commercial fleets of UAVs to keep on top of flight logs, maintenance and flying conditions.
To begin, drone pilots or fleet managers can download the app for free, creating a cloud-based account for one or more UAVs. Then, users can track battery cycles and maintenance on the vehicles and seamlessly document every flight undertaken. The app will also provide real-time notifications about weather warnings, space weather and TFR no-fly zones. It also lets drone pilots share information with each other, enabling them to compete or collaborate.
Kittyhawk is currently available for iOS from the App Store. Could the app be adapted to cater to the needs of amateur drone enthusiasts too?
