No end in sight to the applications of the “deal a day” concept! The virtual ink had barely dried on our story about Philanthroper — which uses that model to encourage micro-donations to charity — when we got word of eDealduJour, a French site that applies it to dating instead. Specifically, eDealduJour features a different single man each day, giving interested women a limited time to respond.
Single men interested in being profiled on eDealduJour begin by submitting their basic information along with a photo and a description of what they’re looking for in a partner. When it’s their turn to be featured, the site includes their biography, photos and videos for 24 hours, along with a timer indicating how long interested women have to respond. Using eDealduJour is free for both featured men and women; fees are charged only for access to archived and upcoming profiles, according to FrenchWeb.
A female-focused version of eDealduJour is reportedly in the works. One to partner with or emulate for lonely-hearts in your neck of the woods?
