Headphones enable users to instantly share the track they’re listening to

Muzik headphones feature a button that lets users immediately share the song they're listening to with Facebook friends.

Innovations such as Replay’s Social Denim – jeans that let wearers instantly broadcast their mood on social networks with the press of a button – are already enabling consumers to connect with friends without unlocking their smartphone. Now Muzik headphones feature a button that lets users immediately share the song they’re listening to with Facebook friends.

The over-ear device provides clear sound and noise isolation, much like many other offerings on the market, but differs in that it has four buttons on one of the earpieces. These buttons can be synced to users’ Facebook and Twitter accounts and, when pressed, instantly update their status to let their friends know what track they’re listening to. The idea behind the headphones taps into the trend for helping consumers easily discover new music by seeing what their friends are listening to and liking in real time. On top of these social features, the headphones also include a built-in accelerometer that detects when they are taken off and pauses the music.

The Muzik headphones enable consumers to broadcast detailed data about their current activities at the touch of a button, making social sharing more seamless. Could other products include a similar feature to create extra conversation on social networks?
