It’s been a few years since we featured UseYourLocal’s pub-based package delivery service, but recently we came across a like-minded effort across the water. Now in beta, Miss Nev is a new venture that aims to recruit local urban businesses to accept packages for residents in the neighborhood. Similar in many ways also to PickupZone, Miss Nev (short for “Never Miss a Shipment”) targets urban consumers who may hesitate to order goods online because they have no way to receive and keep them safe during the day until they get home, according to a report on GigaOm.
