The digital service promises responses to texted queries within 15 minutes
Spotted: In 2023, there were 132.11 million births recorded globally. The early hours, days, and weeks after the birth are when newborns are most vulnerable, making supportive, accessible paediatric care crucial for families. Paediatric healthcare platform Summer Health’s solution is a personalised digital platform that helps families provide the best possible care for their baby.
Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, parents access advice via text, with each query receiving a response, and contact with a paediatrician, within 15 minutes. After a family creates an account, their needs and childrens’ ages are matched to a lead clinician and appropriate specialists. Specialist care includes lactation support, sleeping advice, help developing longer-term care plans, and bespoke milestone tracking programmes. The services provided also adapt as the baby grows.
Each subscription is based on unlimited access to a care team, and health records of every consultation are easy to access, with clinical notes exportable for swift sharing with others when needed. Three levels of subscription are available with all the children in the family included.
When required, prescriptions are sent to the caregivers’ preferred pharmacy. Every contact with the Summer Health platform is with a certified clinician, allowing families to build crucially supportive networks of care for their little ones. And, the personalised care plans also enable families to research and consider future healthcare options for their children as they grow. A recommended reading library, meanwhile, provides extra information and guidance.
