With an appearance like an oversized bowling ball, the new “Noah” capsule from Japanese Cosmo Power Co. features a small window and breathing holes on top, according to an AP report. The device floats on water and has reportedly already survived numerous crash tests. Priced at JPY 300,000, the four-person capsules are made from fiber-enforced plastic and are already in great demand. According to reports, Cosmo has delivered two pods so far, and has received orders for 600 more.
