Homer keyboard app enables users to plan and make reservations, as well as order transport without leaving their group message.
We’ve seen examples of keyboard apps enabling users to write quick business emails or encrypted private messages, and now Homer is making social meet-ups easier to organize through any group messaging service.
The app can run as a keyboard plugin on popular social messaging services, such as WhatsApp, using contextual awareness to monitor conversations and push relevant content. Using a variety of partners, such as Uber, Yelp and Fandango, the Homer app creates sharable ‘event cards’ within apps, so that users can discuss, approve or dismiss venues, book tickets, and arrange travel without having to switch between various apps. Homer is available for free download on the App Store and Google Play.
With the expansion of social messaging, are keyboard plugins set to become a retail channel?
