Regular readers of Springwise may remember Social Print Studio, the service that created posters from collections of Facebook friends or Twitter followers. In a similar vein, we recently came across Netherlands-based Kunst Buzz, who are upping the personalization ante by creating users’ images out of a Twitter user’s tweets. The canvas printed posters, available in a light blue, pink or dark black and red are currently only available to residents of the Netherlands. They come in three sizes, 40 x 60 cm, 60 x 90 cm and 80 x 120 cm, and the tweets used to generate the poster are all taken from one Twitter account. When designing the poster, tweeters can select to have these tweets create their Twitter profile picture, or upload a new image of their choosing. The service is also currently running a competition (on Twitter, of course), where entrants must Tweet about KunstBuzz service to be entered to win a 80×120 poster worth EUR 295. The 40 x 60 cm and 60 x 90 cm posters are EUR 125 and EUR 225 respectively. As users of every social network increasingly seek personalized offline representations of their online lives, we can see plenty more products such as these on the horizon. An idea to replicate for other online communities in other parts of the world?
