Nancy delivers legal, CBD-containing hemp products, for those who want the benefits of cannabis without its psychoactive effects.
As legislations soften, cannabis is becoming more marketable across the US. Following from our recent coverage of an organic marijuana subscription package, Nancy is offering subscription services with a range of cannabis-derived products aimed at those who use it for medicinal purposes.
Nancy’s products, made from hemp, contains CBD (cannabidiol), which is associated with relief from chronic pain and anxiety. Unlike recreational marijuana, these do not contain the high-inducing THC (tetrahydrocannabidiol), making them legal across all 50 states. Users benefit from reduced pain levels without the psychoactive effects of marijuana — “feeling like an alien, or get cotton mouth and the munchies” — that prevent them from going about their day-to-day. But for those who want some THC, Nancy is able to see to that need, provided that they have a medical card — the team can even help users apply for one. Nancy is currently crowdfunding on Indiegogo, with pledgers able to sample their range of edibles, vape pens and oils at half price.
As the social culture around cannabis liberalizes, we’re seeing companies like Nancy, whose products are not technically marijuana capitalizing on the growing industry. What other services can businesses see to in the world of Mary Jane?
