UK jeweler Hot Pink is helping proposers save money by creating a prototype of their bespoke ring in case their partner says no.
We recently covered Bridal Brokerage, a service which gives couples the option to sell their wedding plans in the event of it being called off. Now, UK jeweler Hot Pink is helping proposers save money by creating a prototype of their bespoke ring in case their partner says no. Based in London, the company offers unique jewelry items designed by each customer, rather than producing a generic range for them to choose from. Using 3D printing technology, the company can easily create a variety of rings using computer-aided design. Through its Proposal Service, customers can get a mock engagement ring printed using sterling silver and less expensive Swarovski gemstones, which can be used when popping the question. If the partner doesn’t like the design, fit or – in the worst case scenario – declines the offer, the proposer won’t have invested as much as they might have done. If they say yes, the prototype can be quickly remade with precious metals and natural gemstones. Although the service is aimed at those proposing to marry, anyone could feasibly take advantage. Hot Pink’s Proposal Service helps consumers potentially save money while saving precious metals from going to waste. How else could the daunting task of proposing be made less stressful?
