FlyHomes is an alternative broker that matches every dollar spent on property with the equivalent number of air miles.
Real estate is a crowded market and companies often struggle to set themselves apart from the competition. We have already seen a New York luxury apartment attempt to attract residents with the promise of access to an on-demand private jet, and now FlyHomes is offering another travel-related perk in the form of air miles. The alternative broker matches every dollar spent on property with the equivalent number of air miles.
FlyHomes is a real estate brokerage that invests much of its commission of sales in air miles. It then passes these on to clients at a 1:1 ratio. So if a homebuyer spends USD 750,000 on their home, they will receive 750,000 airline miles. The startup is using this offer to attract a young, adventurous market who value travel as much as their property. FlyHomes is currently offering frequent flyer miles from Alaska Airlines, because the company’s loyalty program proved popular with its target market.
Could air miles be used as an incentive for other large purchases?
