Netherlands-based Voyando lets experts compete to provide personalized travel tips for holidaymakers.
The internet is a great tool for researching the many different holiday options available to travelers, but it can be easy to spend hours trawling different sites and not get any closer to booking. We’ve recently seen a number of apps that do the legwork for holiday planning, such as Hitlist — which offers up destination ideas based on users’ interests. Now, Netherlands-based Voyando lets experts compete to provide personalized travel tips for holidaymakers.
Travelers simply enter in some basic information about their desired trip — where they want to go, when they want to go, and if they have any particular preferences. They also give an amount they’re willing to pay others — which can be as littles as USD 5 — to find the most economical or desirable flight, hotel or holiday package for them to buy. Voyando then taps its roster of experts to do the research and come back to them with at least three different options to choose from within a couple of hours. Users select the option that’s best for them and the expert that discovered it wins the cash. The video below explains more about the service:
