Staples is offering Business Hubs in its UK stores, offering a place for mobile workers to drop in anytime to work and network.
We’ve already seen spaces created especially to cater for mobile workers to carry out their work as well as network with others. Now stationery brand Staples is getting involved, offering drop-in Business Hubs in its UK stores. In collaboration with flexible workspace provider Regus, the chain has opened spaces in four of its branches. Along with free wifi, customers will be able to take advantage of lounges and meeting rooms, as well as the in-store printing, binding and postal services offered. Considering that Staples already caters to a large business demographic and that technology is increasingly allowing workers to be mobile, the drop-in hubs may provide a useful space for those needing a temporary office. How else can existing services be adapted for flexible workers? Spotted by: Raymond Kollau
