Vint is launching a program that lets members pay a single monthly fee to try different classes as many times as they like.
Gym memberships are expensive, and yet those who have them might go once a week and go through the same routine each time because trying out other classes costs even more money. We’ve already seen several New York gyms offer work-trade programs to help cash-strapped customers. Now Vint is launching a program that lets members pay a single monthly fee to try different classes as many times as they like.
The service isn’t a traditional gym — instead it uses an app to connect customers with local athletes for one-on-one and small group sessions. These classes are tailored to each user and can take place anywhere, whether in a living room or the local climbing wall. While typically each session is priced by the expert leading the class, the new Vint Unlimited scheme allows users to attend as many personalized training sessions as they would like for a flat fee of USD 120. This means that they can hop between spinning classes and Crossfit training, weightlifting sessions and yoga all in the same week, without running up a ridiculously high bill. Even if members just want to concentrate on one fitness regime, it means they could feasibly get access to a personal trainer every day of the week.
Currently available in San Francisco and Stockholm, Vint Unlimited aims to make experimenting with different workout classes more affordable, which can only be a good thing for users’ health and enjoyment. Are there other multifaceted services that could benefit from a fixed price system to let their customers explore everything that’s available?
