In the US, a mobile art studio for kids' parties

The Creative Capsule is a mobile art studio made from a refurbished Airstream trailer, offering a creative space at kids' parties.
In Salt Lake City in the US, friends Lisa Dickman and Allison Henriksen Harbertson noticed the lack of family-friendly entertainment options that were both creative and enriching. Taking matters into their own hands, in June this year the two mothers launched the Creative Capsule — a mobile art studio made from a refurbished Airstream trailer — that offers a creative space for arts and crafts activities at kids’ parties.
A basic birthday party in the Creative Capsule last 60 minutes and costs USD 225 for up to eight children, with room for four more children costing USD 20 per child. The price includes delivery of the Creative Capsule to the party location, custom e-invitations and a choice of different themes such as the Magic Forest party, Where the Wild Things Are, and 3-2-1 Spacecraft. Add-ons such as catering, printed invitations, a photographer and balloons are available for an additional cost. The Creative Capsule will travel to homes, parks and festivals, and although they focus primarily on events for children, they can also host hen parties and craft sessions for adults.
The Creative Capsule hope the concept will be popular with parents, with all mess and glitter remaining in the trailer and away from the home. What’s more, all party guests leave with their own hand-crafted gift. Could a similar initiative prove popular near you?
