The Stuck in Bed Fitness Solution is an exercise machine for those who are wheelchair or bed-bound.
For people who have been immobilized through accidents or illnesses, one of the greatest frustrations can be the inability to keep fit and healthy. Now, Ultimate Wellness and Recovery has designed the Stuck in Bed Fitness Solution — an exercise machine for those who are wheelchair or bed-bound.
Stuck in Bed Fitness can be used by people in short or long-term rehabilitation. The machine can be placed over the user’s bed, chair, recliner or wheelchair. Users can pull on the various bands, which have different levels of resistance, and exercise their major muscle groups. There is also a hand pedaler for cardio workouts. The creators recommend 15 minute sessions, which can improve the user’s mental state as well as their physical state.
The Viper model is a compact travel exerciser, which costs USD 199, and the Spider Edition costs USD 1999, and comes with various extras such as a yoga ball, stress balls and workout gloves. How else could fitness equipment be adapted for immobile users?
