Jurni is crowdfunding for customizable, ridable luggage aimed at the teenage market.
Travelers today have a variety of suitcase options to choose from, like this intelligent, location-tracking, self-weighing case. Now, from the developers of Trunki, the suitcase children are often seen enviably riding on through airports, comes a similar product aimed at the young adult market — behold the Jurni, a ridable, full size carry-on suitcase.
Jurni is robust and hackable — teens can curate an independent look with different colored wheels, handles and doors, and choose from a range of customizable compartment parts and accessories like a detachable shoe bag, which can all be swapped out and upgraded in the future. The bag is steady for sitting and gliding on while queuing, and holds up to 100kg. Currently crowdfunding on Indiegogo, Jurni has far exceeded its initial funding goal and will begin production in 2016.
The bags let teens travel with the necessary level of convenience while maintaining their own style. What other products could be ‘hackable’ for teens craving independence?
