Site crowdsources online deals in exchange for Bitcoin

Bitfortip is a new online community, which enables anyone to offer micropayments in exchange for money-saving suggestions.

We have already seen the flexible digital currency Bitcoin used to teach children about charity, and fund adblocking and provide an income for online publishers. Now, Bitfortip is a new online community, which enables anyone to offer micropayments in exchange for money-saving suggestions.

To begin, users post their queries onto the network. This can be anything from the best price for a particular pair of sunglasses to sourcing a used Mac for a specific price. The requester then deposits a small amount of Bitcoin (0.000139 or USD 0.05) as a reward. Next, other members of the community research the problem and offer solutions via the message board. The user can then choose the most helpful response and reward the person who submitted it with the micropayment.

How else could Bitcoin be used to finance crowdsourcing efforts?
