Springwise Updates

Innovations and updates from businesses previously featured on Springwise.

It’s always exciting to hear about the progress made by businesses that we’ve previously featured. Here are some updates from founders who have all got in touch to share their latest news:

Try The World
Another startup we wrote about in May this year is Try The World, a subscription service that aims to sum up popular cities in a box. Having finally announced that its first offering – focusing on authentic food and products from Paris – will be ready to deliver this month, the company has also revealed that later boxes will provide a taste of Tokyo and Rio de Janeiro, and will be on their way to subscribers in November and January respectively.

CO Everywhere
Although operating under the name BlockAvenue when Springwise first covered it in back in May, the new CO Everywhere app is still hoping to deliver to residents hyperlocal data on the place where they live. The new app was launched for iOS devices in the past couple of weeks, and has a stronger focus on social media activity, reviews and discounts relevant to local areas that can be made as specific as users want.

Podtime
Having initially launched its pod-rental service in London – enabling workers to recharge their batteries during the day – the company began a shift towards selling the devices to venues such as airports and youth hostels. Over the past couple of years, however, the Podtime service has launched in New York, Moscow, France and Switzerland, as well as several UK locations. Offering comfort as well as rest, the pods come in a range of sizes and colors with extra facilities optional.
